Customers are encouraged to visit its nearby location at 959 Patterson Road in Dayton for coffee, baked goods and meals.
“Thank you again for being a part of our journey. We will miss seeing you at this location, but we look forward to welcoming you at other locations,” the sign reads.
The cafe and bake shop, located at 3010 Kettering Blvd., was a part of an aggressive expansion effort in 2016 to bring as many as 10 new Tim Hortons locations to the region in three years.
The Moraine Tim Hortons was slightly smaller than other shops at about 1,600-square-feet, with seating for 22 inside and another 12 on a patio, in addition to a drive-thru. It was the former site of a KFC restaurant.
“We want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support, loyalty, and friendship over the years,” the sign reads. “It has been an absolute pleasure serving you, and we are incredible thankful for all the memories we’ve shared.”
